Wahoo joins Bend film scene

Owner Alvarado hopes to break in to local commercial market

Central Oregon's burgeoning film industry has a new player.

The company, Wahoo Films, is new, at any rate.

Its owner and sole employee, Michelle Alvarado, has been part of the region's video and film scene as a teacher and as an event organizer since she moved to Bend from California in 2003.
