Bend marathoner takes second in Seattle, has Olympic hopes

To the outsider, Andy Martin is quietly going about the humble American lifestyle.

He's a fifth-grade teacher at Bear Creek Elementary School in Bend and he has two young sons - Charlie, 5, and Nate, 10 months - with his wife Megan. He is busy with house projects, and he is an avid runner.
