Central Oregon teen workers in short supply

Experts point to a number of social, economic factors as cause

Bend resident Roseanna Oberbarnscheit, 16, says she's not one to mooch off her parents - instead, she spends her own money that she's earned at a local McDonald's restaurant.

Most of her friends don't work, she said, and get help from their parents.

"I'm very independent," she said.....
