LAS VEGAS - Central Oregon's Bobby Mote made the first day a payday at the 2006 National Finals Rodeo.
The Culver cowboy placed fourth Thursday night in the first round of the bareback event at Thomas & Mack Center. Mote was awarded a score of 83.5 on Faded Dice and claimed $6,718.75.
