An exhibit of pastel landscape paintings by local artist Joey VanBlokland opens today at the High Desert Museum.

Titled "A Land Bound Sense of Place: Selected Works," the exhibit features paintings by the Bend artist, who often depicts the Cascades and the High Desert in her artwork.....
