Environmentalists seeking a solution for Measure 37 claim to develop mine, plant and homes at monument

A few days after the Deschutes County Commission denied a Measure 37 claim that sought to build a mine, geothermal power plant and subdivision inside the Newberry Crater, the monument's future is far from settled.
