Sea lions are in the Bonneville Dam fish ladders 150 miles from the ocean. How long have they been there? Well, long enough that complaints have been made. Looks like two years-plus.

Department of Fish and Wildlife has tried shooting rubber bullets and firecrackers to no avail. Mr. Sea Lion....
