Bend area clubs give donations

Some local charities will be getting a piece of a $60,858 pie thanks to the four Bend area rotary clubs and the Bend/Sunrise Lions Club, which raised the money, said Andrea Chowins, a volunteer with the rotary clubs. The charities were presented with the donations Wednesday.
