Bend firm files $44M M37 claim

445 acres east of Bend could be developed under the plan

A huge swath of land just outside Bend's city limits could be opened to development under a new Measure 37 claim filed late last week.

Rose & Associates LLC is asking Deschutes County for either $44 million or the right to develop 445 acres at the intersection of Rickard and Arnold Market....
