The rain and snow that has pelted Bend for the past week has to go somewhere.
Across the city, more than 1,000 drill holes, 5,000 dry wells and 26 drainage pipes collect the water pouring from the sky. Once caught, it either seeps back into the Earth or is flushed out into the Deschutes....
