Frances Pauline Nixon, of Bend, died Monday of natural causes. She was 86.

Private services will be held.

Mrs. Nixon was born June 27, 1920, in Cadillac, Mich., to Verner and Verna Bloomquist. She married Harlan Nixon on Dec. 27, 1941, in Napoleon, Ohio.
