Turnout drops from 2004

More than 65 percent of Central Oregonians cast votes in Tuesday's election

Voter turnout in Central Oregon remained roughly above 65 percent in each county, but dropped substantially from the 2004 election, according to officials from clerk's offices at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
