Lava Bears lose on road in first round

HILLSBORO - Bend High came out on the wrong side of a five-game battle Wednesday night, and its season ended in the first round of the Class 5A state volleyball playoffs.

The Lava Bears fell to Glencoe 25-20, 22-25, 24-26, 25-12, 15-9.
