Drivers killed when two semitrailers collide head-on

Two people were killed Wednesday when two semitrailers collided head-on and burst into flames around 3:30 p.m. in the southbound lane of U.S. Highway 97, near Romaine Village Way, on the south end of Bend, according to Bend Fire Department Deputy Fire Marshal Susie Lovisco.
