Deschutes postpones decision on Newberry

County says M37 claim hinges on who owned land and when

The fate of Newberry Crater will be up in the air for at least another few weeks, after the Des-chutes County Commission on Monday put off deciding whether a Portland man has the right to create a large-scale mine inside the national monument.
