Police evacuate Redmond school after written threat; Bend school finds homemade explosive device

A bomb threat, scrawled by an unknown person or persons Friday inside Obsidian Middle School in Redmond, came a day after six students at Buckingham Elementary School in Bend were discovered allegedly trying to detonate a homemade explosive on the playground.
