County's huge pet population breeds niche industry

e all know Central Oregon is pet-crazy.

Deschutes County alone has 13,330 licensed dogs, and who knows how many cats. And, in a town where businesses routinely put out water bowls for dogs and critters get special treats in the bank's drive-through, it's no surprise to see a slew of businesses....
