U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., on Thursday visited Microsemi Corp.'s silicon carbide manufacturing facility in Bend, which started its wafer production run two weeks ago, company officials told Wyden. Microsemi employs about 10 people for silicon carbide manufacturing.
