A 12-year-old boy was hit by a car as he rode his bike through the parking lot of High Desert Middle School at about 7:30 Friday morning, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
The boy, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center-Bend for treatment....
