Broken femur sustained in cross-country race leads to surgery for Storm runner

Cross-country runner Alyssa O'Connor, a sophomore at at Bend's Summit High School, is expected to be released from a Portland hospital today after undergoing surgery on the leg she injured during a meet on Saturday.
