Central Oregon companies say staffing shortage hurts businesses

Jan Swander, work force analyst for the Oregon Employment Department, looked around the St. Charles Medical Center-Bend conference room Tuesday and asked audience members if they were having trouble finding workers. The roughly 30 people in attendance laughed.
