Bend- La Pine fills spot on board

Janelle Wilcox, 38, to be sworn in at Sept. 12 meeting

The Bend-La Pine School Board on Wednesday voted 4-2 to appoint Janelle Wilcox, a stay-at-home mom, to fill a seventh position on the elected board.

The position has been vacant since June, when Brian Gatley resigned to spend more time with his family.
