Bend golfer sinks lucrative hole-in-one

On any other day, on any other hole, an ace would have been just an ace - cause for a slap on the back and an extra round of beverages back at the clubhouse.

But for Eiel Eielson, an ace on the sixth hole last Friday at Bend Golf and Country Club was worth a cool 15 grand.
