Tradition will bring golf greats to C.O.

Central Oregon was hardly the golf mecca it is today back when the Champions Tour was born in 1980.

But now, more than a quarter of a century later, the golf tour for the over-50 set is making itself a home here on Oregon's golf-crazy High Desert - for four years, at least.
