Energy providers urging cutbacks

Electricity providers are calling for customers, including those in Central Oregon, to conserve as much energy as possible while unrelenting heat grips the West and increases air conditioner use.

Pacific Power is urging residents to keep thermostats at 78 degrees or higher to reduce the strain....
