Bend pitcher helps softballers advance

SALEM - McKensie Booth, who will be entering her senior year at Summit High School in Bend, is a member of the Beaverton Blaze softball team that has qualified for the 2006 ASA 16-A National Championships.

The tournament begins Monday and runs through Aug. 6 in Seattle.
