Crews attack fires in Central Oregon

Officials close Highway 242; blazes in region total 900 acres

A fire burning in the Three Sisters Wilderness Area that shut down state Highway 242 west of Sisters on Monday was burning on 100 acres by Monday night, according to fire managers at the scene.
