Bend swimmer achieves Olympic qualifying time

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Dan Nyaradi of Bend made an Olympic trials qualifying time with his second-place finish Wednesday in the men's 200-meter breaststroke at the 2006 USA Swimming Western Region Section Championships.

Nyaradi, 18, posted a time of 2 minutes, 20.57 seconds, in finals competition....
