Kent Mills, of Bend, died Saturday of small-cell carcinoma. He was 69.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Bend. A graveside service will be held in Michigan.

Mr. Mills was born March 17, 1937, in South Bend, Ind., to Harold and Rose (Wright) Mills.....
