Soccer team going to nationals

On July 8, the Deschutes Academy Football Club (DAFC) Spirit 12-and-under team, based in Bend, surprised even itself by qualifying for the U.S. Soccer Club Nationals, staged July 22-25 in Greensboro, N.C.
