Dick Meddish created a dream garden from tough Central Oregon soil

Dick and Donna Meddish have one of those gardens you'd expect to see featured in a glossy gardening magazine.

Lush flowers and greenery surround its spectacular centerpiece, a 40-foot stream with two waterfalls that curves around and turns into a tranquil pond. Koi swim around the water lilies.....
