Bank of the Cascades sizzles with Idaho in mix

Bend-based bank reports strong second-quarter earnings

Bend-based Cascade Bancorp, helped by its acquisition of an Idaho bank in April, posted double-digit percentage growth in loans and deposits in the second quarter, officials said Thursday.

The parent company of Bank of the Cascades also said earnings rose 83.7 percent in the quarter ended June....
