Oregon State Marine Board alters wake zones on Lake Billy Chinook

The Oregon State Marine Board recently changed existing slow-no-wake zones on two lakes, including Lake Billy Chinook in Jefferson County.

The zones are 5-mph areas close to the shoreline in heavily congested areas.

They were expanded to protect swimmers and boaters who share the same beaches....
