Hot ashes from a campsite, dumped into a large debris pit, caused a roughly 1-acre fire around 3 a.m. Tuesday at 7300 Jordan Road, inside Cove Palisades State Park west of Culver, according to a news release from the Jefferson County Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and the fire did....
