Former youth soccer coach joins OSU staff

Gary Hamel is moving on up.

The former longtime Central Oregon youth soccer coach has been added to the men's coaching staff at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Beavers head soccer coach Dana Taylor announced last week.

Hamel, 38, joins the staff as a volunteer assistant coach.
