Deschutes immunization rates fall short

Only 59 percent of 2-year-olds in county had shots compared with 77.5 percent statewide

Immunization rates in Deschutes County for children younger than 2 are nearly 20 percent lower than the statewide average, according to statistics released to counties last week by the Oregon Department of Human Services.
