A pair of horses that escaped from the Sisters Rodeo grounds around 4 a.m. Friday were hit and killed by a commercial truck on U.S. Highway 20, according to Capt. Tim Edwards with the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office.
The quarter horses, owned by a competitor in the rodeo, apparently escaped....
