Bend's Downs sets pace at Ladies Invitational

Kailin Downs of Bend shot a 1-under-par 71 on Tuesday to take the first-round lead at the 41st annual Bend Ladies Invitational golf tournament.

Downs, a 2001 graduate of Bend's Mountain View High School, was the 2002 Oregon Women's Amateur champion.
