Bend couple face securities fraud accusations

After the owners of Bend-based real estate investment firm PAC Equities were indicted in December on securities fraud, they lost $38,000 gambling at a Las Vegas resort and rented a $2,800-a-month home in a gated Palm Desert, Calif., community, according to a federal affidavit.
