I have a very large dog. At 80 pounds and flush with fur, my Alaskan malamute is imposing in her stature. Despite her size, she is docile, submissive and playful. Regardless of her demeanor, when we go for runs, she is always on a leash. I know her size can frighten people. Not all people, but....
