Madras golfer makes U.S. Open sectionals

Brian Miller, a 1998 graduate of Madras High School, will play in a sectional qualifier for the 2006 U.S. Open.

Miller, who now lives in El Cajon, Calif., played in a local qualifier last week at Ironwood Country Club in Palm Desert, Calif., where he shot a 69. That put Miller in a three-way tie....
