An inmate attempted suicide at the Jefferson County jail in Madras on Tuesday morning.

Gregory Wayne Jackson, 40, of Prineville, cut his arms and neck using a disposable razor at about 8:25 a.m. Deputies gave Jackson the razor for shaving purposes, according to a news release from the Jefferson....
