Flower baskets first step in downtowners' efforts

Bend grant monies to be spent on new marketing campaign

Bend residents and tourists soon will see results from a marketing campaign designed to promote downtown Bend by highlighting the area's unique features.

In the meantime, downtown businesses are planning to splash the streets with colorful flower baskets.
