Wearing knee-high rubber boots, Bend Brewing Company brewer Tonya Cornett slides into a booth next to the Bend brew pub's co-owner, Wendi Day.

Cornett has just come down the steps that lead to the upstairs brewing facilities, fermenting tanks and tubes.
