Louis Dee Ruby of Powell Butte died Sunday of respiratory failure. He was 73.

Private services will be held.

Mr. Ruby was born Nov. 1, 1932, in Pamona, Kan., to Kenneth Ruby and Mary Sanders. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Alice Wainwright on Aug. 20, 1955.
