RIVERSIDE, Calif. - John Backlund of Redmond placed second in the 65-69 age group and his wife Darlene Backlund was fourth in the 60-64 age group at the National 15K Race Walk Championships on Sunday.
John finished in a time of 1 hour, 35 minutes, 14 seconds, and Darlene finished in 1:46.50.
