Bend resident starts sewing cooperative with African community

Sorting through a duffle bag of donated fabric, sewing patterns, notions and clothing is a labor of love for Bend residents Sara Wiener, 46, and her 10-year-old daughter, Bella. All the donated items will be going with the Wieners to Kibwezi, Kenya, next month, where Wiener has started a sewing....
