The Duel and the Desert, an on- and off-road duathlon in Bend, is scheduled for Saturday, May 27 at Summit High School.

The annual event, hosted by the Mount Bachelor Rotary Club, begins with a 5-kilometer run at 10 a.m. on dirt trails followed by a 13-mile mountain bike ride or 23-mile road....
