Jackstraw returns

The Portland bluegrass quartet Jackstraw will return to Bend Wednesday for a free show at McMenamins Old St. Francis School.

The band's sound is firmly rooted in the traditional bluegrass sound, with hints of honky- tonk, folk and jazz, said guitarist Darrin Craig.
