Stephen James Dynice of Bend died Sunday of a heart attack. He was 57.

Private services will be held.

Mr. Dynice was born Oct. 9, 1948, in Los Angeles to Anthony and Audrey (Shingler) Dynice. He married Gerda Schep on Aug. 25, 1973, in Pasadena, Calif.
